Our Projects

Our current projects follow three lines of research: Basic science, Translational and clinical science and Community studies. As fundamental scientists, we develope new tools to quantitate the latent HIV reservoir, investigate the causes of HIV latency, and identify novel compounds to be used in HIV cure clinical studies.

Our translational and clinical science approach focuses on cohort building projects, an established infrastructure for sequencing and drug resistance, pharmacology studies, and HIV cure based clinical trials. We also lead and participate in community based studies in collaboration with key populations and worldwide partners.
