Curative treatments need to be effective yet safe and must not compromise ART efficacy. An integral part of advancing HIV cure drugs into clinical strategies is thus to ensure that we develop assays to analyse HIV cure drug pharmacokinetics and gain essential insights on what these drugs do to the body and vice versa.
